A few familiar examples from the larger searchable object library. Many everyday, vehicle and animal measurements are representative, so use them to understand scale rather than as exact specifications.
How tall is a standard door?
HeightTool uses 80 inches (6'8\", about 203 cm) as the standard door reference. Door sizes vary by building and country, but this gives an easy everyday scale for human height.
How tall is a basketball hoop?
The rim of a regulation basketball hoop is 10 feet (120 inches / 304.8 cm) above the playing surface. The preset makes that large difference immediately visible.
Why compare with objects?
Familiar objects give height a real-world reference. A measurement such as 190 cm can be abstract, while seeing it next to a door or refrigerator is much easier to picture.

Are the object heights exact?
The object presets use typical reference heights, but real products and installations vary. They are intended as useful visual references rather than specifications for a particular item.
How tall is a standard door compared with a person?
The standard door preset is 80 inches, or about 203 cm. A person who is 5 feet 6 inches tall is 66 inches, leaving a difference of 14 inches, or about 35.6 cm.
Can I compare more than one object at the same time?
Yes. Add multiple people or objects to the same visual scene to compare all of them on one scale.
